Every DDR module has SPD and X.M.P profiles. This feature allows you to see (in the BIOS) these memory profile settings including DDR3 frequency, timing and voltages. You can also select which X.M.P file or SPD file to load in BIOS. This feature is useful for users who aren't comfortable overclocking their memory on their own, as they can choose a specific X.M.P profile which then automatically sets the correct settings.
