There is no specific option to disable remote control; however, there is an alternative solution by uninstalling the remote utility. Below are three methods to execute:

Method 1: Under Windows Start menu, find “U8300 Utilities” under GIGABYTE folder and click “Uninstallation Wizard”.
Method 2: Find “Uninstallation” folder and click “QuickUninstallation”. After that, select “Custom Uninstallation” and click “Remote Control uninstallation”.


Method 3: Go to “Control Panel \ Programs and Features ” and uninstall “GIGABYTE Remote Utilities”.
