The GA-7VT600 1394 consists of the new generation VIA KT600 chipset and delivers high-end platform with excellent performance. The VIA Apollo KT600, the succeeding product of market leading chipsets for K7 platform, is furnished with the optimized structure and cutting-edge technology to provide the best performance of it's class.
Supporting the new 400MHz FSB, KT600 provides a high bandwidth of 3.2GB/s to unleash the full power of AMD AthlonTMXP processor. The advanced FastStream64 DDR400 Memory Controller of KT600 collaborates with the 400MHz FSB to provide a perfectly balanced subsystem, greatly reducing data latency and enabling searing performance from the 400FSB processor.
