Held at the Beyond The Summit Studio in LA, USA, The Summit 3 final closes this year biggest international DOTA 2 tournament which took part in 2 phases. Phase 1 was comprised of worldwide online qualifiers to determine which teams were to be invited in LA for phase 2, a LAN face off. During 5 days, the qualified 6 teams fought against last year’s champion and a community voted team to win the champion it all. Through an amazing display of skills and a great team work effort, Team Secret made it to the top and walked away with a big share of the $260,000+ prize.
Because eSports would be nothing without its fans, GIGABYTE had something to reward them too. During the LAN phase of the tournament, GIGABYTE G1™ gave away a GA-Z97X-Gaming G1 motherboard, GeForce GTX 960 graphics card and Swag Bag to one lucky winner every day. Winners were selected through the live twitch chat; by typing “gigaway” into the BTS Twitch Chatroom when prompted by the casters!
