Humidity Protection

BRIX motherboards use a Glass Fabric PCB design that helps reduce the amount of space between the fiber weave, making it much more difficult for moisture to penetrate compared to traditional motherboard PCBs. This offers much better protection from short circuit and system malfunction caused by humid and damp conditions.

Electrostatic Protection

The use of high quality IC microchips that are rated with higher electro-static discharge (ESD) resistance than traditional IC implementations (up to 3 times the ESD resistance level) helps to better protect the BRIX motherboard, its components and the PC in general against potential damage caused by static electricity, a common threat to today’s electronics.

High Temperature Protection

The use of all solid capacitors for the BRIX both reduces overall board temperatures while making the BRIX motherboard more robust at higher temperatures. The choice of Lower RDS(on) MOSFETs also helps to reduce operating temperatures significantly compared to traditional MOSFET solutions.

All BRIX are packed with a power cord and adapter which undergo rigorous testing for safety and reliability and are designed to meet government safety standards around the world.

The power supply is up to 87% efficient and complies to DOE level 6 & Erp lot 7 Standard. By adopting ferrite core and low DCR chokes, the BRIX power delivery design reduces heat created by power loss and provides an efficient power delivery to the CPU VRM area. The low power consumption reduces your energy bills and lessens the units environmental impact.

To further help reduce it’s power consumption, the GIGABYTE BRIX feature a unique FAN Speed Control (FSC) Policy which provides smart FAN speed control.

Recyclable

GIGABYTE uses highly recyclable aluminum to create the BRIX’s incredibly compact enclosure. It's a fraction of the size of a typical desktop tower which makes it one of the most material-efficient desktop computers available.

Minimal Package

With such a small format, the BRIX is a fraction of the size of a typical desktop tower. This directly results in a smaller package and shipping box, making carbon footprint and planetary impact of the BRIX as small as possible.
