نظراً لاختلاف الدعم المقدم لنظام التشغيل لينوكس من مصنّعي الشرائح الرئيسية، برجاء تحميل برامج التشغيل المتوافقة مع نظام لينوكس من الموقع الالكتروني للمصنّعين أو من أى موقع آخر
  لم يعد أغلب مصنعى مكونات الحاسب و البرامج بقومون بتوفير برامج التشغيل المتوافقة مع Win9X/ME/2000/XP SP1/SP2 . فى حالة توفر هذه البرامج فسوف نقوم بنشرها على موقع جيجابايت

نظرأ لأ عملية تحديث وحدة التشغيل الرئيسية بها قدر من المخاطرة، نوصي بألا تحاول تحديثها إذا لم تقابلك مشاكل تستدعي ذلك. عند تحديث وحدة التشغيل الرئيسية، تعامل بحرص. التحديث الخاطىء قد ينتج عنه مشاكل في الحاسب


تحديث قيم المعالج في وحدة التشغيل الرئيسية الجديدة يعني؟
1. دعم سلسلة جديدة من المعالجات أو 2. دعم نفس المعالجات ولكن باعدادات جديدة دعم اللوحة الرئيسية للمعالج يعتمد على وحدة التشغيل الرئيسية وتصميم المكونات المادية، لتفاصيل عن قائمة المعالجات المدعومة برجاء مراجعة القائمة
#1. سرعة التحميل قد تختلف من منطقة لأخرى. إذا واجهت مشكلة في محدودية سرعة التحميل، رجاء محاولة التحميل من موقع آخر
#2. رجاء التحميل من المنطقة "آسيا" إذا لم يتوافر الملف الذي ترغب في تحميله في مناطق أخرى
#3. إذا واجهت مشاكل أو لم تستطع ايجاد الملف بعد اتباع الخطوة الثانية رجاء ابلاغ الدعم الفنى للمزيد من المساعدة.
#4. لضمان جودة عملية التحميل، ينصح باستخدام برامج مثل Flashget أو Getright لمراقبة حالة الملف الذي تقوم بتحميله ولتوفير وقتك ومجهودك
