This model has 2 FAN control modes. In silent mode (SW2), the FAN speed remains slow to keep working environment quiet until GPU reaches certain high temperature. If you want to use performance mode, you can switch the connector to SW1. 

Note: make sure you update BIOS to latest version before doing this step.
