Why does the BIOS show 100MHz FSB while the Motherboard says it supports 200MHz SDRAM?
AMD 761/VIA Pro266 chipsets support 200(266)MHz SDRAM because it uses Double Data Rate to do transferring. It runs at the speed of 100(133)MHz externally (between the SDRAM and the NorthBridge), while the SDRAM itself runs 200(266)MHz internally. Thus, 100MHz means the transferring rate between the SDRAM and the NorthBridge.
