Why do I get "DIMM 3 & 4 conflict. Turn off power and remove DIMM 4." message?
You may have inserted 2 double-side SDRAM on both DIMM slots 3 and 4 at the same time. Since Intel 815E chipset only supports 6 banks, DIMM 3 and 4 share banks. To use DIMM slots 3 and 4 at the same time, insert single-side SDRAM on both slots. To use double-side SDRAM, insert only on either DIMM slot 3 or 4.
