The setup screen go blank when install the drivers with driver CD ( NVCD version 1.0) for GA-7NNXP, GA-7NNXPV, GA-7N400 Pro, GA-7N400V Pro.
Here are two ways for solving the issue.
- Solution 1. Apply the patch file
- Please download the patch file from the"Driver" section of this web-page. The name of the patch file is NVCD.exe. Save the patch file to your floppy or flash disk.
- For the system to be setup. Put the Driver CD (NVCD) into the CD_ROM. Close any tasks initiated by the auto-execution program in Driver CD.
- Insert the floppy or flash disk and execute the patch file, NVCD.exe. The patch file will initiate the installation process without run into the same issue.

Solution 2. Install the driver manually
- For the system to be setup. Put the Driver CD (NVCD) into the CD_ROM. Close any tasks initiated by the auto-execution program in Driver CD.

Please go through the following folders and execute the installation program of chipset drivers

Chipset > sys_drv > winxp,win2k, or win98 > setup.exe

For 7NNXPV and 7N400V Pro, please install the VGA drivers in the following folder.

Chipset > nvga > win2k or win9x > setup.exe

For USB2.0 driver, please execute the installation program in the following folder.

Chipset >nusb > NUSB.exe

Chipset >nusb > win9x_me > setup.exe

For Network drivers, please execute the installation program in the following folder.

Network > Intel > win9x_me > Setup562.exe

For Audio drivers, please execute the installation program in the following folder.

Audio > Realtek > Setup.exe
