Z390 I AORUS PRO WIFI motherboard uses an all IR digital CPU power design which includes both digital PWM Controllers and PowIRStage MOSFET, and is capable of providing at least 40A of power from each phase,for a total of 240A. Support for DDR4 XMP Up to 4400MHz and Beyond*

AORUS is offering a tested and proven platform that ensures proper compatibility with profiles up to 4400MHz and beyond. All users need to do to attain this performance boost is to ensure that their memory module is XMP capable and that the XMP function is activated and enabled on their AORUS motherboard.

What is XMP?

DDR4 memory modules are available at a stock frequency of 2133MHz, but as frequency tweaking requires a considerable amount of effort and knowledge, memory vendors encode XMP profiles which can automatically modify the timings of the supported memory modules to work with your CPU and to achieve increased performance.

HDMI 2.0 for 4K / 60P / 21:9 / HDCP 2.2 Support

HDMI 2.0, which is backwards compatible with HDMI 1.4, offers 18 Gb/s of bandwidth – nearly twice that of the previous generation. This unlocks the potential for users to transfer multiple video streams, as well as a native cinematic 21:9 ratio (which most movies are shot in), offering the best visual experience for viewers.

AORUS partners very closely with memory vendors from around the world to ensure that modules offered by popular memory brands are compatible with AORUS Motherboards. AORUS has verified over 1000+ different modules to ensure performance in a AORUS built system.

PCIe x16 slot Bifurcation support

Breaking the limits on a single x16 slot, AORUS/GIGABYTE expands the support for PCI Express via a bifurcation mode. This feature allows users to take advantage of a single PCIe x16 slot, through the use of a riser card, and transform their PCIe slot into three (3) full length PCIe slots, each supporting x8/x4/x4 or x8/x8* PCIe lanes.

This new expansion capability allows users to create various solutions through the combination of different types of expansion cards. Users and solution providers can now leverage two additional slots for PCIe NVMe SSDs in RAID. Accompanied with a graphics card, this PC is a powerhouse for graphics rendering or good old fashioned gaming. All devices are directly attached to the CPU side which removes the bottleneck of the DMI bus from PCH.

RGB Fusion 2.0

With AORUS Motherboards, RGB Fusion 2.0 is even better with Addressable LEDs.* RGB Fusion 2.0 offers users the option to control onboard RGB and external RGB / Addressable LED light strips for their PC. Already feature filled with colors and patterns, RGB Fusion 2.0 on Z390 Series AORUS Motherboards are now upgraded with Addressable LED support. With external digital LED strips*, where each LED is digitally addressable, users can experience even more patterns, styles, and illuminations.

AORUS Gaming Motherboards will support either 5v or 12v digital LED lighting strips and up to 300 LED lights. RGB Fusion 2.0 with Addressable LEDs comes with new patterns and various speed settings with more to come.

With Smart Fan 5 users can ensure that their gaming PC can maintain its performance while staying cool.
